Welcome to Challis Builders. I'm Blake Challis and I have been serving the local community with Building and Carpentry services for over a decade, providing renovation works, extensions and loft conversions as well as dedicated carpentry services.

After completing my carpentry apprenticeship I developed a broad range of skills and insight into the building trades; working for both small and large firms, period properties and new builds, and even as a ship's carpenter for a tall ship.

From these experiences, I have found a passion for working on historic, characterful properties. Along with my close-knit team of local tradesmen, Challis Builders now specialise in these types of period buildings.
Challis Builders is dedicated to providing an honest job. We provide realistic timescales, work on one job at a time and treat each project as if we are working on our own home.
